Get To Know Fluid’s Newest Team Member, Alex Salsberry

15 Mar, 2018 Alex Naylor Fluid Culture

We are thrilled to add a new member to our Digital Marketing team, Alex “A1” Salsberry! Alex is coming in to fill the position of SEO and Content Marketing Specialist and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with him that we’re sure will come in handy often. To get to know him a little better, we asked him to tell us a bit about himself.

Alex Salsberry | Fluid Advertising

What was your experience in digital marketing before Fluid?

Before Fluid, I worked for about 3 1/2 years as an SEO specialist. I got my start in Digital Marketing at a company called Harris Research. As the parent company of the Chem-Dry and N-Hance franchises, I offered SEO services to franchisees all over the U.S. and Canada. After a year of SEO work, I started managing the Harris Research social media program as well. I then worked at a Digital Marketing firm in Logan called Kite Media, where I again focused on SEO and became the company social media management expert.

What are you most excited to bring to the Fluid team?

Professionally, I’m most excited to bring my knowledge of Digital Marketing as a whole (from SEO, social media and content creation) to the team. On a personal level, I love having great conversations with people and helping out any way I can.

When you’re not at Fluid, what do you like to do for fun?

When I’m not working, I love spending time with my incredible wife and our (slightly crazy, extremely loving) Border Collie, Sullivan. We go on hikes with him whenever we can. I also love writing music in my spare time and exercising whenever I get the chance.

What other fun facts should we know about you?

Before having to ask, know that I am an ethnic smorgasbord (parts African, Korean, Mongolian, English and Welsh… plus 3% Turkish).

I was once a pirate (owned a boat for about a year, sailed it just once at Bear Lake and immediately broke the rudder).

In high school, I took hip hop lessons with my friends and we performed in a couple talent shows.

I am technically a composer (wrote the music for a friend’s short film where we won Audience Choice).

I really look forward to working at Fluid and can’t wait to get to know everyone!
