DIY: Ornaments

balloon ornaments

Today the Fluid team really got into the Christmas spirit by making string ornaments with the help of balloons and Martha Stewart. It’s a simple and fun activity for all ages! Just blow up a balloon, wrap it numerous times with thick string and brush watered down glue so that the string can stiffen. It’s up to you and your creative juice on where to go from there. Note: Glitter is messy no matter how hard you try to contain it to one area. It ain’t gonna happen.

After the glue is dry, pop the balloon and voila, you have yourself a fun little ornament. It took us an hour to dry down, whereas it took Martha a matter of seconds. How long did it take  you?
