CASE STUDY: Building Support For The Brasil Doce Lar Foundation Through Social Media And Blogging

We are working with The Brasil Doce Lar Foundation to share its message through social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Orkut, YouTube, Ning, etc.) and blogging. The Foundation was founded in 2006 to provide educational opportunities to underprivileged Brazilian youth.

Social media marketing is the process of promoting a site, business, or brand through social media channels, focusing on activities used to build links, garner attention, and receive large amounts of traffic for their company or site. Fluid Studio promoted the Brasil Doce Lar DVD and website through various video sharing and social networking sites and by finding and creating groups and associations that were associated with Brazil and its people. A widget (above) was also created and shared with those interested in the Foundation, the compelling story on the DVD, and Brazil.
